One thing is quickly becoming clear. The good-ol’-boy network that rules the General Assembly will not tolerate a criminal statute that even thinks of punishing people who rape animals (and children).

A former Missouri lunch lady was just sentenced to 18 years without parole for making porn videos with kids and dogs. Sex with dogs (and other animals) is still okay in the eyes of Kentucky law.

It just goes to show how quickly state legislators can begin to seriously consider the impact of animal rape. In Ohio, all it took was one widely publicized travesty of law that compelled a city to enact an ordinance.
